Hope Shimwa, 10 years old, P5: Camp Kigali Primary School
Computer pioneer Training, level 1, November 2007
I am grateful for the computer training I got from the Regional ICT Training and Research Center (RITC).
I have learnt MS Word, MS Excel, MS Paint, Games and Internet Explorer. With the skills gained, I can write a letter in MS Word, doing Math in excel, playing games and painting.
I have liked Internet; because I can find whatever information I need like news, people and courses.
I believe that every kid of my age can go to RITC to learn computer skills in order to be up to date with current technology.

I like RITC because I learnt computer skills from there. The study environment is very good, with air conditioning; people are cooperative and a nice instructor.
Now I am no longer afraid of computer as I was before and I think that if I get opportunity I can teach such skills to my classmates. Also, now I have an email account and I can write to my aunts and uncles or to my friends. I will come back this year for further level to increase my knowledge.
